We are a student run cinema based at Christ’s College, Cambridge University. For over thirty years we have been showing a variety of blockbusters, classic and cult films to our members. #

Now, in 2017, we do more than just show a film. Join us for interactive showings, events and collaborations with societies across Cambridge University and beyond.

Rescheduled from last term to 27th January

Linguistics professor Louise Banks (Amy Adams) leads an elite team of investigators when gigantic spaceships touch down in 12 locations around the world. As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew must race against time to find a way to communicate with the extraterrestrial visitors. Hoping to unravel the mystery, she takes a chance that could threaten her life and quite possibly all of mankind.

Nominated for eight Oscars including Best Picture, Denis Villeneuve's 2016 film Arrival is a must see for any sci-fi fan or movie lover.

If you haven’t seen Mulan, dishonour, dishonour on your whole family, dishonour on you, dishonour on your cow. Twenty years since its release and ahead of the live action adaptation join us in following Mulan (Ming-Na Wen) and her dragon companion Mushu (Eddie Murphy) on their adventures.

Moonlight is based on the unpublished semi-autobiographical play 'In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue' by Tarell Alvin McCraney's about life as a gay African-American man growing up in Miami. It is the first film with an all-black cast and the first LGBT film to win the Oscar for Best Picture.
